THE TEMPLE OF LATHANDER

This is the temple of the good god Lathander. If you are a Cleric of Good alignment, you will feel at home here and this temple will become your stronghold.

  1. Here are the exits to the Temple District.

  2. Here you will normally find Dawnmaster Kreel. If your party has a low reputation, this is where you will need to come to steal the Statue of Lathander in connection with the Mae'Var quests. If you open the safe or the locked chest when Dawnmaster Kreel or any of the Morning Knights are within sight, everybody in the temple turns hostile. It is therefore recommended to wait until night and let a thief hide in the shadows and wait until Kreel is out of sight.

    The Statue of Lathander is in the locked safe, which also contains minor treasure.

    The bookshelves contain books and minor treasure.

    The locked chest contains a Wand of Monster Summoning.

  3. If you are a Cleric of Good alignment and you gain this temple as your stronghold, this is where your room will be. The trapped chest contains 2 Potions of Extra Healing.

    Here is also where you will meet Acolyte Lara who will give you your stronghold quests.

  4. If you are a Cleric of Good alignment, here is where you will find High Mornmaster Arvel who gives you the Unseeing Eye quest and Dawnbringer Sain who gives you the Sir Sarles and Lathander's Ring quests.

    The rightmost of the two cupboards contains 2 Potions of Extra Healing.

  5. The leftmost of the two cupboards contains a Scroll of Protection from Poison. The entire temple turns hostile if you are caught stealing it.
