THE TEMPLE DISTRICT

The Temple District is the place where Athkatlans go to worship. It has three different major temples, the headquarters of the Order of the Most Radiant Heart ... and also a mysterious guarded compound and extensive sewers!

  1. Here are the district exits. You always arrive in the upper left corner of the map.

  2. Here is the Temple of Helm. You will be working for them on the Unseeing Eye quest, the Sir Sarles quest and the Ring of Lathander quest unless you are a Cleric of Good or Evil alignment.

    If you are a Cleric of Neutral alignment, this will be your stronghold after you have completed the Unseeing Eye quest.

  3. Here is the Temple of Lathander. If you are a Cleric of Good alignment, you will be working for them on the Unseeing Eye quest, the Sir Sarles quest and the Ring of Lathander quest and this will become your stronghold once you have completed the Unseeing Eye quest.

    If you are doing the Mae'Var quest for Renal Bloodscalp, and your party's reputation is poor, you will also be coming here to steal a statue for Mae'Var.

  4. The first time you come here, you will see a priest named Gaal promoting his new faith. When he is done, High Watcher Oisig asks you to meet him at the Temple of Helm. This starts off the Unseeing Eye quest.

    If you are a Cleric of Good alignment, High Mornmaster Arval asks you to meet him at the Temple of Lathander.

    If you are a Cleric of Evil alignment, Stormherald Nallabir asks you to meet him at the Temple of Talos.

  5. The Guarded Compound is the home of a group of Slaver Lords. They have plenty of nifty equipment, but you'll really have to fight for it! Enter to take them out – if you can! ;-)

  6. Here is the Pimlico Estate. You will need to come here if you're doing the Book of Kaza quest for Korgan.

  7. Here is the Temple of Talos. If you are a Cleric of Evil alignment, you will be working for them on the Unseeing Eye quest, the Sir Sarles quest and the Ring of Lathander quest and this will be your stronghold after you have completed the Unseeing Eye quest.

    If you are doing the Mae'Var quest for Renal Bloodscalp, and your party's repuation is 10 or better, you will also be coming here to steal an amulet for Mae'Var.

  8. Here you will see Talon Nirkhas being accosted by Miranda, who claims he is the father of her daughter Lanie. However, Lanie blows the story by telling Miranda that she likes her other fathers better... ;-)

  9. Here you can watch Garrick trying to woo the beautiful Lady Irlana with the aid of the gnome Cyrando. If you return a few times, you can watch the drama unfold, until in the end Irlana ends up marrying Cyrando, while Garrick runs off with a bridesmaid.

  10. Here is the entrance to the Order of the Most Radiant Heart. You will be coming here for Anomen's test, and this is also where you can find Keldorn if you didn't accept him into the party down in the Sewers, or if you have dropped him from the party.

    If you are a Paladin, it will become your stronghold after you have completed the Windspear Hills quest.

    Inside, speak to Sir Ryan Trawl to get the Fallen Paladins quest.

    In Chapter 6 you can come here to seek help in your fight against Bodhi.

  11. Here are the three entrances to the Sewers.
