  • Cold Resistance: +20%.
  • Fire Resistance: +20%.
  • Special: Protects against critical hits.
  • Weight: 3.
  • Not usable by: Mages, Bards, and Thieves.

Helm of Balduran

Properties:

  • Armor Class Bonus: +1.
  • Max Hit Points: +5.
  • Saving Throws: +1.
  • THAC0: +1.
  • Special: Protects against critical Hits.
  • Weight: 1.
  • Not usable by: Mages, Bards, and Thieves.

Helm of Brilliance

Properties:

  • Equipped Abilities:
    • Protects against critical hits.
    • Fire Resistance.
  • Special abilities once per day:
    • Fireball:
      • Damage: 6D6 (save vs. wands for half).
      • Range: 90 feet.
      • Area: 30 foot radius.
    • Prismatic Spray: Effects vary as per 7th level Wizard spell.
    • Sunray:
      • Damage: 3D6 (save vs. spells or be blinded for 10 rounds).
      • Undead: An additional 1D6 points of damage per level of caster (save vs. spells or be destroyed).
      • Range: 20 feet.
      • Area: 20 foot radius.
  • Armor Class Bonus: None.
  • Weight: 2.
  • Not usable by: Bards, Mages, and Thieves.

Location:

  • Sold by Ribald Barterman at 2 in the Adventurer's Mart in Chapter 6 if you agree to pay for seeing his special wares.

Helm of Charm Protection

Properties:

  • Armor Class Bonus: None.
  • Special:
    • Protects against critical hits.
    • Wearer is immune to Charm.
  • Weight: 4
  • Not usable by: Mages, Bards, and Thieves.

Helm of Glory

Properties:

  • Armor Class: +1 Bonus.
  • Charisma: +1 Bonus.
  • Special: Protects against critical hits.
  • Weight: 2.
  • Not usable by: Mages, Bards, and Thieves.

Location:

Helm of Infravision

Properties:

  • Armor Class Bonus: None.
  • Protects against critical hits.
  • Grants wearer infravision up to 120 feet.
  • Weight: 3.
  • Not usable by: Mages, Bards, and Thieves.

Location:

Helm of the Rock

Properties:

  • +25% resistance to Fire, Cold, Acid, Poison, and Electricity.
  • Usable by: Fighters.
  • With the two Horns found on the elemental level in Watcher's Keep, Cespenar can upgrade it to the Helm of the Rock (upgraded).

Helm of the Rock (upgraded)

Properties:

  • +25% resistance to Fire, Cold, Acid, Poison, and Electricity.
  • Cast Aura of Command 3 times per day (enemies must save vs. spell at -2 penalty of flee in terror).

Throne of Bhaal:

  • Created by Cespenar in the Hellish Pocket Plane if you give him the Helm of the Rock, the two Horns, and 5,000 GP.

Patrol Leader's Helmet

This is the helmet of a Svirfneblin patrol leader. You need it in connection with the Teach the Deep Gnomes a Lesson quest.

Location:

  • Given to you by the Svirfneblin patrol leader at 12 in the Underdark if you choose to spare his life. Or dropped by him if you decide to kill the patrol.

Roranach's Horn

Properties:

  • +50% resistance to blunt weapons.
  • Not usable by: Monks, Mages, Thieves, Bards, and Kensai.

Throne of Bhaal:

Skull of Death

Properties:

  • Effect: Death Spell.
  • Damage: Death.
  • Ragne: 10 yards.
  • Area: 30 feet cube.
  • Armor Class Bonus: None.
  • Weight: 2.
  • Not usable by: Mages, Bards, and Thieves.

Location:

Vhailor's Helm

Properties:

  • Special Abilities (once per day): Cast Simulacrum.
  • Armor Class Bonus: 1.
  • Weight: 2.
  • Not usable by: Mages and Bards.

Location:

  • Sold by Deidre at 4 in the Adventurer's Mart if you have installed the Bonus Merchants pack.
