Helm of Flaming [O!BOM013]

This class of open-face helmet, made of reinforced leather or metal, covers most of the head, save the face and neck. These helmets commonly provide protection for the nose. This example is different, however; it appears to belong to a lost troupe of adventurers who fought the magma-beast Olimikrig, who had been causing chaos amongst mining operations in Tethyr owing to his hunger for precious and semi-precious gemstones.

Helm of Nuhn [O!BOM015]

Nuhn was a small town that once stood approximately where the border between Tethyr and Amn now lies. This helm belonged to the town's Master, a much beloved Priest of the Morninglord, Lathander, whose wisdom and benevolence guided this once backwater hamlet into becoming a major seat of trade and prosperity. Sadly, when the Master of Nuhn passed away, the noble houses fell to squabbling amongst themselves as to who should take over: none of them had the backing of the people as he had. Eventually, bandits took root around the town, and Nuhn fell into ruin. This helm is all that remains as a memento to the glory days.
