Gamespy Arcade Chat (April 25, 2001)

Attendees from Stormfront Studios/SSI:

Edited and spelling checked log prepared by Sorcerer on April 29

<Cobby> Channel is now moderated
<Cobby> Welcome
<Cobby> Can the team each introduce themselves while we get some questions lined up?
<Crispy_Critter> Garrett, producer for SSI/Redstorm/GTG/Learning Co./Mattel Interactive
<Jim_Hanson> <--- Development Director Stormfront Studios
<asad> Senior Programmer Stormfront Studios
<Jeff{1}> Any level design questions, we have the illustrious Jack Mayer desiger extraordinaire!
<Crispy_Critter> it's panda time!
<Kaatmal> Chuck Yager, Associate Producer Redstorm / SSI
<Kaatmal> Everybody it's PANDA TIME!!!
<Kaatmal> no seriously...
<Crispy_Critter> yes!
<Cobby> *Nikozomo* Where there me player interactions between your teammates like in BG2?
<Jeff{1}> We have an orc in the audience!!
<Crispy_Critter> katmaal's having some trouble
<Lightning{1}> Orcs!!!!!
<Kaatmal> No trouble here...
<Crispy_Critter> just a sec...
<Kaatmal> Garrett's just trying to figure his end out...I'm fine
<Kaatmal> I loathe orcs...except for that one time in Houston. :)
<asad> any questions? other than ship date!
<Crispy_Critter> there are no player interactions as there are no voices for the characters. We designed the game so that the players could create their own personalities...
<Lightning{1}> my personal favorite char in the game is the Half-Orc Barbarian
<Crispy_Critter> and have the party that they want instead of us deciding it for them. This could be interesting if you are alone at home and your party starts to argue amongst themselves :)
<Kaatmal> I'm still partial to the elven sorceress myself
<[GSI]Silverdawn> Lightning: you didn't introduce yourself above, people want to know :)
<Crispy_Critter> done.
<Cobby> *LockeLeon* Is there an expansion pack in the works?? I'm already looking forward to it! :)
<Lightning{1}> oh sorry, I'm a level designer/tester at Stormfront
<Lightning{1}> Can we have some questions?
<[GSI]Silverdawn> On a related subject while you are typing that answer, what is the current release date for POR?
<[GSI]Silverdawn> lightning: lockeleon asked about an expansion
<Crispy_Critter> i wrote in "done", didn't it show up?
<Cobby> *LockeLeon* Is there an expansion pack in the works?? I'm already looking forward to it! :)
<Kaatmal> So are questions filtered per person or listed here for all to see?
<Kaatmal> End of June for a release date.
<Kaatmal> Thanks Silverdawn. :)
<Lightning{1}> Crispy Critter can you answer that question
<Crispy_Critter> We don't have an expansion pack in the works - first we have to finish the game we're working on.
<Crispy_Critter> done.
<[GSI]Silverdawn> Can you explain all the changes in the companies surrounding SFS and POR2?
<[GSI]Silverdawn> i.e. the history so we are up to date :)
<Crispy_Critter> actually, SFS hasn't changed hands...
<[GSI]Silverdawn> the publishing side
<Crispy_Critter> SSI was part of The Learning Co. when we started PoR...
<Lightning{1}> Are there any gameplay questions?
<Kaatmal> It's been an interesting ride...TLC, Mattel, Gores, now Ubi Soft...and before those Mindscape.
<Crispy_Critter> We were sold to Mattel Interactive, then to Gores Technology Group and now we've been bought by Ubi Soft and made a part of Red Strom, which is also owned by Ubi Soft...
<Kaatmal> I think they're working on the gameplay questions Lightning.
<Cobby> *Vincent* Will the NPCs that join you during the game have any personality and backround or will they be just cannon fodder?
<Crispy_Critter> All in the last two years. Um, I think a lot of companies don't understand how difficult it is to make a game, and run into problems. Ubi Soft is giving us a lot of freedom and I think we will be with them for a while. (done)
<Cobby> *dbird* Well this is a bit pedestrian of a question, but what will distinguish Pool from other isometric RPGs like Torment or Icewind Dale?
<[GSI]Silverdawn> you should be able to answer those last two Chuck, from all your time on the boards ;)
<Crispy_Critter> for vincent: the NPCs are very tied to the story and have a history and a goal.
<Crispy_Critter> (done)
<Kaatmal> I don't see any questions though?!?!
<Cobby> *swat20* what FR books have u read if any?
<Crispy_Critter> for dbird: i think that we have some of the most outstanding graphics around, turn based combat which plays very closely to the pencil & paper game, and a great story line. Ok, they all have great story lines, but I'm pretty attached to this one. :) I think we also...
<Crispy_Critter> have some unique settings and really had fun making Myth Drannor come to life (done)
<Cobby> *dbird* Will this game be more like Torment in the sense of more story line or more like Icewind Dale in the sense of more combat oriented or some other type all together?
<Jeff{1}> Any art questions? I have most of the art team with me here.
<Lightning{1}> This is the first game I have worked on that I plan to play after it's finished =)
<Crispy_Critter> for swat20: speaking only for chuck and myself, we've read a lot of DL but not FR. I can't speak for the designers at SFS. however, chuck and I both play and run a lot of campaigns in that setting (done)
<Cobby> We're changing moderators
<Cobby> moment please
<Cobby> some people can't see my typing
<Crispy_Critter> jim answer your phone!
<[GSI]Silverdawn> *Draz* How is the beta going? What have been your biggest problems with POR2?
<Lightning{1}> Jim!
<Kaatmal> Beta is going fine... we are fine tuning the last few legs of the game (i.e. path finding and scenario balancing)..
<Kaatmal> The biggest challenge I would say is just making sure that the game stays focused and involved throughout...
<Kaatmal> ...which I think SFS has done a great job of thus far! :) (done)
<Jim_Hanson> because of its scope and size
<[GSI]Silverdawn> *Buck_GameBanshee* Can you explain how feats will be implemented into the game in relation to how they work in a regular 3rd Edition P&P session?
<Crispy_Critter> the beta is going fine. I'd say the biggest trouble is the sheer size of the game: check all the quests, dialogs, clipping in all areas, pathfinding - there's just so much to check. But we've got a good plan and SFS is just a few exits down the road, so we're working very closely with them (done)
<Kaatmal> Feats are assigned to each class, whith a unique progression to each class...
<Kaatmal> This differs from the player's own choice in PnP but still allows us to make sure that each character class has a uniqueness to them through what feats they get. (done)
<[GSI]Silverdawn> *Samurai* How nesecary will experience with the original PoR be to understanding the story of PoR2? Have you considered including the original game?
<Crispy_Critter> we took a lot of feedback from our forum when we re-did the feats (done)
<Kaatmal> No previous experience is required with the former title. This is a new story with a brand new cast...
<Kaatmal> However, you will begin the game in the same place as you ended the original... a little bit of nostalgia for the fans. :) (done)
<[GSI]Silverdawn> *Draz* Will there be a demo release before game release?
<Lightning{1}> The classes are Paladin, Ranger, Barbarian, Sorcerer, Fighter, Rogue, Cleric and Monk
<Crispy_Critter> the demo will be released around the same time as the game. (done)
<Kaatmal> There are no plans to include the original at this time. Gotta hunt for it I guess. :)
<[GSI]Silverdawn> *Relampago* Will there be differentiating movement rates based on race and encumberance?
<Crispy_Critter> samurai: we no longer have the rights to the original game :(
<Kaatmal> Yes...different races move at different speeds and encumbrance does slow you down in combat.
<Kaatmal> (done)
<[GSI]Silverdawn> *LockeLeon* Will there be any famous NPCs from D&D novels/campaigns in the game?
<Kaatmal> Hhmmm....that depends on if you consider Elminster a famous figure. :) (done)
<Crispy_Critter> I've had overloaded characters who can't move and I love having my barbarian run the extra distance to put the smack down on some hapless foe (done)
<[GSI]Silverdawn> *Buck_GameBanshee* Garret, you have stated that alignment will have little effect on the game, but that WotC want the game to be "heroic". Will evil or chaotic characters have reduced gameplay due to WotC's demands?
<Kaatmal> It's a requirement with FR titles you know to have the old dog in on the game. :)
<Crispy_Critter> no, since alignment has little effect, you are free to play whatever alignment you wish, without penalty. (done)
<[GSI]Silverdawn> *Equis_GameBanshee* What creature did the artist have the most difficulty bringing to life in PoR2?
<Crispy_Critter> jeff! jeff! jeff!
<Jim_Hanson> Jeff is coming back
<Jim_Hanson> to answer
<Kaatmal> Without Jeff here now that's a tough one....yay! He returns!
<Jim_Hanson> can he talk about the dracolich Garrett?
<Kaatmal> yep
<Kaatmal> It's no secret at this point Jim
<[GSI]Silverdawn> *Vincent* what is the strongest type of monster we will be fighting?
<[GSI]Silverdawn> (I assume the same)
<Jim_Hanson> bummer thought we had the lid on it
<Crispy_Critter> I have to say that the monsters in PoR are BRILLIANTLY animated. You really feel like you're going up against actual creatures...
<Kaatmal> That's subjective Vincent. I would say the end boss is pretty tough but the drow are not to be underestimated.
<Crispy_Critter> the undead shuffle, the orcs swagger and ther ormyr look big enought to crush boulders (done)
<[GSI]Silverdawn> *Korbundar* I have seen very little updating of your website. Considering this is the medium between you and your potential customers shouldn't more effort be spent keeping it updated not just with news - but changing screen shots, trailers, etc?
<Kaatmal> I love the black Araccat and the Cult Archmages though myself. (done)
<Jeff{1}> The most difficult monster to create was the mighty Dracolich! He is enormous, has huge wings, a long neck and a immense swinging tail!
<Kaatmal> We have recently had our web dept. laid off and are in the process of getting a nice update done to the website under Red Storm...
<Lightning{1}> The Dracolich is also the most difficult to fight
<[GSI]Silverdawn> *swat20* What advice would u have for someone who wants to make videogames when they get older?
<Kaatmal> It's kinda hard when you keep bouncing around and are losing your support. :) Sorry for the lack of info lately. (done)
<Jeff{1}> Are you interested in programming, art or design?
<Crispy_Critter> swat20: ignore your parents when they tell you to stop wasting your time on those video games!...
<Lightning{1}> Start now, making video games as a hobby is probably the best idea
<Kaatmal> Brilliant words from the wise man Garrett. :)
<Lightning{1}> hehe
<Crispy_Critter> there are a lot of ways to get into the industry - programming, art, writing, sound and management are the five biggest areas...
<Kaatmal> Play a lot of games and get to learn what systems you do and don't like, and more importantly, why. (done)
<[GSI]Silverdawn> *Korbundar* Is the Sorceror broken down by schools of magic?
<Jim_Hanson> maybe we could mail Swat20 the source for PoR :)
<Kaatmal> No... no specialization in PoR. (done)
<Crispy_Critter> each has its own needs. (done)
<[GSI]Silverdawn> *Buck_GameBanshee* What role will Elminster play in the game?
<Crispy_Critter> jim...
<Crispy_Critter> ;)
<Kaatmal> He is the chief instigator for getting your party to adventure into Myth Drannor in search of Athan's party...
<Jeff{1}> ...
<Lightning{1}> Elminster is a char that can join the players group
<Kaatmal> Athan and his band have gone missing and were the original team sent by Elminster to find and destroy the Pool..
<Kaatmal> Now you take up the mantle of their quest. Blame him! :) (done)
<Lightning{1}> my mistake that's Emmeric
<[GSI]Silverdawn> *Korbundar* Are there any easter eggs in the game you'd be willing to divulge...?
<Kaatmal> Nice recovering Lightning! P~
<Crispy_Critter> as always, Elminster finds a way to send a low level party to save the world :) (done)
<Kaatmal> What's an Easter Egg? :) hehe...no seriously, not any I want to spoil at this time.
<Kaatmal> (done)
<Crispy_Critter> like the dracholich with no clothes?
<[GSI]Silverdawn> *Equis_GameBanshee* How much customization can players do to their characters?
<Kaatmal> damn...there goes my favorite one!
<Kaatmal> You can choose anywhere from 2 to 8 skins for most character classes and some races have both male and female options. (done)
<[GSI]Silverdawn> *Buck_GameBanshee* Assuming classic spells such as Magic Missile and Fireball have been implemented, what are some of the more uncommon AD&D spells that will be in-game? What would you consider the most devastating spell in the game?
<Kaatmal> Those races are Human, Elf, and Half-elf btw. (done)
<Jim_Hanson> Firestorm
<Crispy_Critter> chain lightning is my fav...
<Kaatmal> Whew... good question... the most uncommon spell would be Divine Power since it is brand new...
<Crispy_Critter> I love the way everyone lights up like a bug zapper (done)
<Kaatmal> and the most devastating is either Firestorm as Jim mentions, or Chain Lightning. Devastating! (done)
<[GSI]Silverdawn> *Equis_GameBanshee* To expand on Swat20's question, what is a good entry level position in game development and what qualifications are minimal?
<Jeff{1}> Cure light wounds! :)
<Crispy_Critter> ask him what he wants to do?
<Kaatmal> My favorite too Jeff...although a close tie for Remove Fear
<Crispy_Critter> art, programming, sound, design, producing...
<Crispy_Critter> ???
<Jim_Hanson> Programmer: Learn C++, prcatice a lot, do some research in books and on the web about game developemnt techniques,
<Jim_Hanson> They change rapidly
<Jim_Hanson> (done)
<[GSI]Silverdawn> What is the current state of the multiplayer mode for the game and what will it all offer?
<Jeff{1}> Art: Go to art school. Learn the fundamentals of drawing, painting, animation and design.
<Kaatmal> A good question for Asad.
<asad> It supports up to six players (client server technology)
<Crispy_Critter> I started as a tester, then production assistant, associate producer, and now producer. So if you aspire to be a middle manager, that's the way to start :) it helps to having good writing & communication skills and a good knowledge of many genres of games. (done)
<asad> The game lets you explore above ground areas and there are 12 dungeons where
<Kaatmal> And the ability to tell your boss what a Tarrasque is doesn't hurt either. :)
<asad> the dungeons get genereated randomly...
<asad> Each dungeon has between 2-5 levels and at the lowest level you get to fight the boss in addition to other encounters
<[GSI]Silverdawn> Multiplayer will be standard DirectPlay similar to Icewind Dale?
<asad> There are lots of cool and unique treasures
<Crispy_Critter> I'm still laughing about "it helps to having good writing skills" lol
<asad> I don't know about that, but The experience is better than Balder's Gate
<Kaatmal> I can agree with Asad on this one... MP in Pool is pretty fun and the fact that it is different that single player is a big bonus. (done)
<[GSI]Silverdawn> hmm.. *Thumper{!}* What steps are being taken to prevent cheating?
<[GSI]Silverdawn> anyone?
<Kaatmal> Was there a question active that I missed Silverdawn?
<[GSI]Silverdawn> Thumpers about preventing cheating
<Kaatmal> Didn't see that one. What was it again?
<Jim_Hanson> I missed it too
<Crispy_Critter> nothing here
<[GSI]Silverdawn> *Thumper{1}* What steps are being taken to prevent cheating?
<Kaatmal> I get packaged with the collector's edition to come with the game with a big bat. :)
<Kaatmal> hehehe...j/k, Jim any thoughts on this one?
<Jim_Hanson> In my opinion, the way the gameplay is designed obviates the effectiveness of cheating.
<[GSI]Silverdawn> People like dueling... any special features added to multiplayer to support that? Who at SFS is the best in the arena?
<Jim_Hanson> Cheating would not accomplish any goals that would be fun
<Crispy_Critter> no obviating on a public forum :)
<Kaatmal> No head to head in MP... it's all against the AI.
<Jim_Hanson> oops, my Nanny was turned off
<Kaatmal> However, you can harm your own friends with area of effect spells like Fireball. :) (done)
<Jim_Hanson> Exactly Chuck
<[GSI]Silverdawn> *Buck_GameBanshee* How many random elements are there in the game to keep replayability an option? Is loot random?
<Crispy_Critter> I'm the best at fireballing my own party
<Jim_Hanson> Loot is random and the dungeons themselves are randomly generated after you defeat an existing one
<Crispy_Critter> that's for multiplayer, jim...
<Jim_Hanson> yes, only for multiplayer
<Crispy_Critter> in single player, the game is scripted.
<Crispy_Critter> (done)
<[GSI]Silverdawn> based on recent playtesting, how long does it take to get through the single-player game?
<Lightning{1}> I think players will want to play the game again to visit areas of the dungeon they missed the first time considering the size of the game.
<Kaatmal> 100+ hours...trust me! :) (done)
<Crispy_Critter> that's true, its very easy to miss things as you play through.
<Crispy_Critter> let's hear from killer_kunk, we like the name
<[GSI]Silverdawn> How linear is the story?
<Jim_Hanson> The game can be played in many ways, exploratory, or more goal oriented
<Lightning{1}> Also there are many types of group combinations with classes that will make combat very different from the first time playing the game
<Kaatmal> The story is not very linear in the sense that you have to go from A to B to C...
<Kaatmal> It keeps the options open, especially above ground, for players to travel as they wish...
<Kaatmal> However, there are parts that you do need to do first to be able to gain access to later areas. (done)
<[GSI]Silverdawn> *Vincent* will there be diferent skins for a halfling fighter and a halfling rogue?
<Crispy_Critter> yes!
<Kaatmal> Yes.
<Kaatmal> And for the sorcerer and cleric too. :) (done)
<Crispy_Critter> and the monk (done)
<[GSI]Silverdawn> *Korbundar* Any famous or well known (though not common) magic items in the game?
<Kaatmal> and the pharmacist....oh, no wait, wrong game. :)
<Crispy_Critter> is nottle, technically a pharmacist?
<Kaatmal> Almost all the magic items were made from common derivatives, but have SFS own unique spin on them...
<Lightning{1}> I'm a huge roleplaying game fan myself, and one of the things I like most about this game that I think is better than other games are the nice char graphics and smooth movement
<Kaatmal> The Gauntlets of Moander are there though. :) (done)
<Crispy_Critter> There are a *lot* of magic items in the game (done)
<[GSI]Silverdawn> lightning: How long does it take to make one of those 3D models?
<Lightning{1}> thats a Jeff question
<[GSI]Silverdawn> how about 2D level? ;-0
<Jim_Hanson> From Jeff: about a day to model and a couple days to texture map per character
<Crispy_Critter> and how many texture maps per character?
<Jim_Hanson> From Jeff: anywhere from 8 to 24 maps
<[GSI]Silverdawn> *Relampago* Will often underused attributes (like charisma) have any effects for people other than sorcerers?
<Crispy_Critter> it also affects Turn Undead
<Lightning{1}> yes, Char effects turn undead for paladins and clerics as well
<[GSI]Silverdawn> *killer_kunk* Are there a lot of items to interact with in the game world?
<Kaatmal> Tons and tons... too many to mention here. (done)
<Jim_Hanson> The game is replete with lots of objects
<[GSI]Silverdawn> what are some examples of how you interact with objects?
<Crispy_Critter> doors and chests to smash
<Kaatmal> You can smash some, peer through others, and still put items into others. (done)
<Crispy_Critter> locks to be picked
<Crispy_Critter> traps to be disabled...
<[GSI]Silverdawn> *Equis_GameBanshee* Any emotes for multiplayer enjoyment?
<Crispy_Critter> and plenty of special, quest-specific interactions. (done)
<[GSI]Silverdawn> We'll wrap this up in a few more minutes. Last few questions.
<Lightning{1}> multiplayer has a chat box for communication
<Kaatmal> No e-motes that I know of. (done)
<[GSI]Silverdawn> *Equis_GameBanshee* What is each developer's favorite race/class?
<Kaatmal> Elf-Sorcerer
<Lightning{1}> Barbarian Half-Orc
<Jim_Hanson> Jack: Human Fighter
<Crispy_Critter> lol
<Jim_Hanson> Jeff: Half Orc Cleric
<Kaatmal> That's all Jack EVER likes...(panda time)
<[GSI]Silverdawn> *Thumper{1}* Any thoughts on adding live voice chat in the future?
<Crispy_Critter> barbarian cleric - you take the hit on cha, but it makes for a great back up fighter
<Jim_Hanson> Thoughts.. Yes, not sure about doing it though in the future
<[GSI]Silverdawn> *Korbundar* Where do you see the future of games like yours going?
<Kaatmal> It's a possibility we can consider but can't promise at this time though. (done)
<Kaatmal> For the publishing side, I hope to continue RPGs in the future (done)
<Jim_Hanson> There are some pretty good 3rd party applications for voice chat
<Kaatmal> As for RPGs, I think they will only get bigger and more involved until they replace a segment of reality in some way. :)
<Crispy_Critter> more interactivity between the player and environment, more flexiblility in storytelling and (hopefully) arena combat!
<Jim_Hanson> I think the future holds improvements as the base platforms become more powerful
<[GSI]Silverdawn> Final question:
<[GSI]Silverdawn> *Korbundar* In a nutshell, what separates your game from the rest of the same genre?
<Crispy_Critter> jim, find your inner child! ;)
<Jim_Hanson> I mean that it will be much more fun as the cool stuff comes out
<Kaatmal> Its graphics are superior, its story is involving in its own scheme, and the difference between SP and MP makes it two types of game in one. (done)
<Kaatmal> Not to mention it has the 3E D&D rules in it. :)
<Jim_Hanson> Great spell effects too! And good music and audio
<Lightning{1}> The combat is very fun to play
<Crispy_Critter> I'm a big fan of the turn-based combat, and I love the look of the game - it knocks the socks off of everyone who sees it. The first time you cleave an orc and he says "unnngh" and staggers before falling onto his face, you're hooked!
<[GSI]Silverdawn> We'd like to thank Stormfront Studios for dropping by for this chat.
<Crispy_Critter> Thanks!
<Jim_Hanson> Bye all
<Kaatmal> Thank you! :)
<Crispy_Critter> can I stop smiling now? :)
<[GSI]Silverdawn> We will unmoderate the room in a sec so you can all discuss stuff freely
<Kaatmal> nice.... nice..
<Cobby> Channel unmoderated
<Cobby> Thanks for coming
<Cath0de> why am I such a crack baby?
<Crispy_Critter> thanks, cobby!
<Jim_Hanson> thanks Cobby
<Cath0de> they didnt answer any of my questions...
<Cath0de> I'm so sad...
<Cath0de> *cry*
<Kaatmal> yes thanks... :)
<Equis_GameBanshee> Maybe you just need more crack?
<[GSI]Silverdawn> ask now while they are still around
<killer_kunk> hey I just can't wait to play it
<killer_kunk> I love attention to detail
<Kaatmal> I'm still here Cath0de... nice name.
<Cath0de> yes, will every piece of armor change my appearance like in Nox?
<Korbundar> Keep up the good work guys - we appreciate the things you do
<Jim_Hanson> mostly yes
<Cath0de> boots, gloves, cloaks
<Vincent> will you be able to kill Elminster?
<Cath0de> will you be able to meet Drizzt at all?
<Kaatmal> Equipping armor and other items will change your appearance yes.
<Cath0de> will he make a cameo?
<Kaatmal> No Drizzt and unfortunately no killing Elminster
<Nemesis> how does the multiplayer differ from bg2?
<Cath0de> nuts...
<MiSeRy_Un4giveN> is it like the original Pool of Radiance?
<Kaatmal> MP is only a hack fest where you can fight creatures to gain unique items different from SP and level.
<Kaatmal> sorry to break your heart cath0de
<Crispy_Critter> with random dungeons
<Cath0de> When will a demo be out? I read the rpgplanet site, and it said march but thats come and gone
<Nemesis> so it's more like Diablo 2
<killer_kunk> will there be unique items like in Diablo?
<Equis_GameBanshee> Any plans for a future online only title?
<Kaatmal> Yes Nemesis... like Diablo 2 in that respect.
<Crispy_Critter> we'll be releasing the demo around the same time as the game, which is to say June.
<Korbundar> So do you guys like have LAN parties and playtest your own game?
<Kaatmal> Not at the moment but it's not ruled out for online only.
<Nemesis> good ... i think pool2 will rock
<ironman_kerensky> I'm playing Heart of Winter and the grafics look awsome is Pool the same or better?
<Cath0de> June... not bad
<Vincent> what's your favourite race?
<Kaatmal> A lot fo people are playing Pool internally and yes, we do test the game together from time to time
<Crispy_Critter> we've played the game - a *lot* :)
<Crispy_Critter> not just for work, but for enjoyment as well
<Cath0de> right in sync (i hate those words) with my summer vacation to completely absorb me...
<Jim_Hanson> I think better graphics
<Kaatmal> I like Pool's graphics best of any RPG out there right now... but I could be biased. :)
<Darthiir> will it be 2nd edition rules?
<Cath0de> Is it as addicting as Evercrack?
<Lightning{1}> I haven't played Heart of Winter but i have played Icewind Dale and I like Pool of Radiance graphics much better
<Cath0de> darthiir, its 3e
<Jim_Hanson> 3rd edition rules
<Jim_Hanson> I've gotta run everyone, nice chatting with you
<Equis_GameBanshee> Any games besides PoR2 you are anticipating?
<Kaatmal> Neverwinter Nights of course!!! :)
<Kaatmal> See ya Jim. :)
<Thumper{1}> Thanks, Jim!
<Cath0de> bye jim
<Vincent> bye
<Jim_Hanson> Later!
<Kaatmal> Gentlemen...I've gotta run as well unfortunately. It's been a blast. Thanks. :)
