Killing the Dragon, and Looting results

Killing the Dragon is VERY tedious and time consuming. But it can be done with even level 1 characters. Just go purchase the Bow skill for all characters. Also buy a scroll of Fire Aura if you don't find one. Enter the cave of the Dragon with only the Shrine of Gods effect active, and cast Wizard Eye. Pick up the +2 Bow on the floor at the entrance, and cast the Fire Aura on it. You get 5 hours of time before this effect runs out. In the first few rounds use ALL offensive scrolls and wands that you may get(I passed on the Fireball wand offer). Listen for the dragon to shoot his fireball, then IMMEDIATELY go to turn-based mode after a few running steps. Take ONLY one or two shots(two shots is a bit risky, because the Dragon often attacks after that second bow shot). If you are VERY fast at the keyboard, you can quickly leave turn-based as the shot is coming and run out of the way. Cast Detect Life after around the mid-point for damage against the Dragon. This lets you see how much more shots it will take to kill him. Save every successful hit on the Dragon, and EVENTUALLY(easily a number of hours in game time) he will die from the shots. You may want to save a few spells at the end, since he goes into "flee mode" once you get him down to around 100 hit points or so. The Dragon loved killing my Cleric in slot #3, but it is possible he may go after somebody else for your party.

After the Dragon is dead, you can either loot once or go for a multi-loot. By multi-looting I mean save the game before looting the Dragon, and if his body does not disappear you get another opportunity to loot him. My level 1 characters looted the Dragon 12 times, and I kept 7 of those items for my party. Here's a list of the items I got from my multi-looting(your experiences will be different):

Dragonhide Gauntlets: +19 to Air Resistance
Knight's Boots: +12 to Dodging skill
A pure speed potion
Mighty Halberd of Earth
Resplendent Chain Mail of the Gods
Angel's Ring: +19 to Disarm trap skill
Ulysses(a bow Artifact)

I killed Wromthrax using the Emerald Isle method, and here are my looting results:
Mighty Halberd of Ice
Glorious Cloak of Health(+25 HP)
Phynaxian Shield of Defense(+21 AC)
Majestic Shield of Defense(+23 AC)
Phynaxian Shield of Air Resistance(+19 Air Resistance)
Ghoulsbane(artifact)
Minotaur Axe
Noble Plate of Luck(+22 Luck)
Silver Belt of Luck(+20 Luck)
Vampiric Wizard Staff
Knight's Boots of Thought(+19 Intellect)
Gilded Belt of Items(+17 ID item skill)
Royal Leather of Fire Resistance(+24 Fire Resistance)

If I play MM7 again anytime soon, I'll detail my multi-looting results for the singular dragons here.
