I confess, I've stolen the name Calis. It happened about 6 or 7 years ago. I was reading Raymond Feist's books, and I liked them. I took the name of a character I liked, and have been too lazy to change it ever since. :)

Well enough about the name. Who am I? My name is Roel Arts, and I'm currently a 19 year old student of Applied Physics, meaning that I have enough free time to work for gaming sites :-). I started playing pen & paper RPGs some 6 years ago, and have played computer games since the dawn of time (well not really, but I played my first game of Pong when I was 4 years old).

Baldur's Gate is, of course, an awesome game, and so are both the Fallout games. When Planescape: Torment was announced, I really got into the fansite biz when I was involved in the creation of The Pit, a fansite for said game. Planescape has always been my favorite AD&D setting (next to my homebrewn worlds, that is), so when Torment finally came out, I lost a lot of sleep over it. I also met Sorcerer (Taluntain) on IRC, and talked to him occasionally.

Torment came and went, and I started looking for something else to do. I gathered myself a crew and started Terra Arcanum, a fansite for (you guessed it) Arcanum. I also started working as a news/content monkey over at GA-RPG. Since covering the daily (A)D&D CRPG news is part of my job there, I figured I might as well post the relevant news in two places, and asked Sorcerer if he needed another news monkey. Well, he did, so here I am. Now go away. Nothing to see here. Move along.
