Back in the year 2000 I stumbled upon a game called Baldur’s Gate. As you’d expect, I immediately fell in love with the game, and all the questions I had led me to #sorcerers on IRC and later the Boards o’ Magick. I eventually joined the SP team as a news editor, searching the web for everything (A)D&D CRPG related. Then I left for a while, and later came back and found myself in charge of pretty much everything on the SP front page. But after a while I stopped playing the games and joined the army, so I had to leave everything here behind for a time.
I grew up on a farm outside of Larvik in southern Norway, where I lived until I joined the army. After spending more or less three years in green clothes I moved to Trondheim to study at the Norwegian University of Technology and Science. I’m studying for a master’s degree on a program called “construction and environmental engineering”, and I hope to be qualified to construct huge roads and tunnels when I’m done.
While in Trondheim I was asked by Taluntain to help him with some walkthroughs, and so I did. I helped converting Beren’s walkthroughs for Neverwinter Nights 2 and the expansion Mask of the Betrayer to HTML for everyone to enjoy on SP, with the option to help Tal with similar jobs in the future. I don’t even play much computer games anymore, but I still think it’s important to contribute to the unique CRPG resource which is Sorcerer’s Place.
