About Mollusken

During the spring of 2000 I first entered #sorcerers full of questions about Baldur's Gate 1. I could always rely on getting answers for my questions there, and it was a fun place to be when times were hard. From August 2000, I've been a member of the Boards O' Magick, and both the IRC channel and the message boards are still visited by me every day. Now I also handle the Neverwinter Nights news at this site.

I live on a farm about 20 minutes drive from a small town called Larvik in the country of Norway. I am 18 years old, and still have to go to that pestering school Mondays to Fridays. But I've found that Sorcerer's Place is possibly the best way to save a boring day at school. At weekends I usually go hunting in the forest around where I live, and pigeon, fox and roe deer are my favourite targets. I also hunt for duck and cormorant along the beautiful Norwegian coast. I enjoy doing farm-work, and when I have a week or more free from school you will maybe catch me driving tractors around in the neighbourhood.

I was first introduced to the art of CRPG gaming with Might and Magic VI: Mandate of Heaven several years ago. I fell in love with the game, and to no surprise I've also played Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honour and Might and Magic VIII: Day of the Destroyer. To my opinion, these are the best CRPGs ever made, but I am also a great fan of the AD&D games Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale with expansions. I also enjoy a lot of RTS games, such as the Settlers, Age of Kings, StarCraft, WarCraft, Heroes of Might and Magic, Red Alert and Seven Kingdoms. Old DOS games such as Transport Tycoon DeLuxe and Colonization are to my opinion some of the best games ever made. I am a true gamer, and I know little or nothing about anything else in this computer world.

For the future I hope for a quick release of the games Might and Magic IX, Age of Mythology, Heroes of Might and Magic IV, WarCraft III, Neverwinter Nights and hopefully an Icewind Dale II. Future looks good indeed :-).
