Greetings to all. A little bit about myself: I am a father of 3 girls, a marketing director for a medium-sized credit union, and a long time gamer.

I started with D&D way back in the early 80s, with the old red and blue books. I started CRPGing with the great and wonderful Gold Boxes, and through it all, no matter how great it got, I always felt limited in what I could do… it just never equaled pen and paper.

Years and many games later, along comes the glimmer of hope, a merging of pen and paper and computer D&D. With the arrival of Neverwinter Nights, I have finally found the computer version (or as close as it is likely to get) of my pen and paper.

So now, I've wanted to be a huge part of the expanding NWN community. I stumbled upon Sorcerer's Place through a search from NWN, and through SP found my way to ALFA. Looking at several different options for factions and adventuring groups, I at first was leaning towards one of the other more neutral factions, but after witnessing the great gaming and support of SP and AORTA, as well as AORTA fitting my "hero" ideal, I immediately cut all other ties, and have been on SP solely since.

After being accepted to AORTA, I fell into place, just posting on SP and what have you, until Erran announced his HDM, and when the position of AORTA leader opened, I thought that I could offer much, as well as help others enjoy the game. So I signed up, and we've had some great ideas and communication so far.

I look forward to being a part of AORTA, and working with many of you, both now and after the game is actually released.
