The first time I found SP, I had just gotten Baldur's Gate II and I was searching the Internet for help on it. That was in the summer of 2001. When I came to SP, Baldur's Gate II was the first computer role playing game that I had ever played. When I started looking around the site, I was amazed at how many others there already were. I signed up on the message boards in July of 2001 and found them very useful even though I didn't need to post much. Most of the questions I had were asked before and could be found by searching through the old posts. I started visiting the chatroom soon after. After visiting SP the first time, my addiction for CRPGs was just starting, and today it is still going strong.

If you want to know more about me, I'm 16 years old and I live in a small town in Maine. I have two sisters that are constantly bothering me to get off the computer or leave the house. I started posting Icewind Dale II news just a while back, and will probably continue to do that until this computer dies. My first gaming experience was me watching my dad play on his commodore computer. When he saw I had an interest, he got an Atari from one of his friends. That is when it all started. I played Superman or Missile Command for hours and hours until someone would pry me away or until I was almost dead from starvation. After we got a Nintendo, no one would see me for whole days. I would disappear for endless hours playing Double Dragon or Mario. It got worse (or better, depending on how you look at it) as we got more systems, and eventually a computer.

I will probably always come back to SP for one reason or another, besides posting news. It's a great site with tons to do.
