Signing up for a Sorcerer's Place Supporter Account not only helps us stay alive and come up with new, better things, but also gets you some cool perks. See a detailed description of SPS accounts, and the list of what you get, here.

NOTE: You are not required to pay anything to simply use Sorcerer's place. An SPS account merely provides certain extra perks. If you wish to donate less than the default options we've listed below, you can still do that and help SP! Please click here for details.

Terms

By purchasing an SPS account, you agree that you fully understand the following:

• You understand that this is a voluntary donation that grants you additional features, and that you are not required to pay anything to use the site and message boards.
  
• You understand that when posting on our message boards, you are still bound by the rules set there, and that breaking those rules will result in appropriate action being taken against you by either moderators or administrators. The fact that you are an SPS account holder will not exclude you from having to comply with our forum rules.
  
• The payment is a voluntary donation, and as such is non-refundable. It is NOT a payment for a service and does NOT imply any contract - the extra features are just our way of saying "thank you", and may change at any time.
  
• If you have any problems, please contact us. We will make sure to work with you until everything is resolved to mutual satisfaction.

Personal Sign-up Details (IF YOU ARE GETTING AN ACCOUNT FOR YOURSELF)

To purchase and activate your SPS account, you need to take the following steps:

1) Ensure that you have a regular (free) member account registered on our message boards. If you already have a message boards account, the SPS perks will be applied to your existing account.

2) Purchase your SPS account here (details below).

3) Wait for the confirmation e-mail with additional instructions to arrive (up to 24 hours). The e-mail will be sent to the address your PayPal donation came from. If you would like to be contacted at another e-mail (or via a private message on the boards), you can specify this in a note on the donation page, or notify us after you have made the donation.
NOTE: If you donate via a PayPal bank transfer, please include your contact e-mail or board login name in a note when you donate.

Friend Sign-up Details (IF YOU ARE GETTING AN ACCOUNT FOR A FRIEND)

To purchase an SPS account for a friend, you need to take the following steps:

1) Ensure that the person you're getting an account for has a regular, free member account registered on our message boards. Full SPS account perks can only be applied to existing message board accounts.

2) Purchase your friend's SPS account here (details below).

3) Wait for the confirmation e-mail with additional instructions to arrive (up to 24 hours). The e-mail will be sent to the address your PayPal donation came from. If you would like to be contacted at another e-mail (or via a private message on the boards), you can specify this in a note on the donation page, or notify us after you have made the donation.
NOTE: If you donate via a PayPal bank transfer, please include your contact e-mail or board login name in a note when you donate.

4) After you've received the confirmation e-mail from us, reply that you would like the purchased SPS account assigned to another person, and provide an e-mail or message boards user name of this person. Please also specify whether you want the person you got the SPS account for to know that you've purchased it on their behalf, or that you wish to remain anonymous.

Primary Sign-up Method - PayPal

To sign up online using PayPal, simply click the appropriate PayPal button below. (Click here for more information about PayPal.) A registered PayPal account is not required in order to make payments, but since it's free and comes in handy when buying things online (or donating), we recommend that you set one up anyway.

Option #1 3 months SPS subscription ($15)
Option #2 6 months SPS subscription ($20)
Option #3 1 year SPS subscription ($35)
Option #4 Custom SPS subscription, with a 2-year subscription minimum. This option allows you to freely choose the amount of money you would like to donate. Your subscription period will be calculated at only $30/year. E.g., $60 = 2 years, $90 = 3 years, etc.
Leaving Notes with Your Donation The option to add a note with your donation shows on the "review your donation" page, just before you finalize the donation. It looks like this: [+] Donation Notes (example circled in red in the image on the right) When you click on the [+] button or the "Donation Notes" text link, it expands and allows you to type a message to send with your donation.

Secondary Sign-up Methods

If you are unable or unwilling to use PayPal to sign up, there are other ways to sign up for an SPS account (same subscription information as above applies):

• Transfer money directly to the site owner's bank account (details)
• Send a cheque or cash via snail mail (details)
