My mate just got a brand new GTX 680, so I got his "old" 580 to use in SLI with the one I had already, yay!

  • Since my PSU was a Coolermaster gx-750w I needed a new one. Went for an Antec cp-1000 since it was relatively cheap and had gotten great reviews (got a bit more expensive though as I had to purchase a case it would actually fit in as well. Didn't mind though as I was planning on replacing my HAF 922 anyways for a taller tower)... Need to do something about the cables down by the psu.. Can't be bothered right now though.

    Specs are:

    i7 950 (stock speed, 3.2GHz with Turbo)
Noctua NH-D14 CPU cooler (BARELY fits in my case. like a few mm)
    GIGABYTE x58A-UD3R (rev 2.0) board
Two GTX 580 (stock speeds) set up in SLI
    12 GB cl9 1600MHz Kingston RAM
    Antec cp-1000 PSU
    Antec Dark Fleet DF-85 Case
2x Caviar blue HDDs set up in Raid 0
