Squatter on my front porch

Squatter on my front porch

This little critter was squatting on my front porch one evening. He stayed long enough for me to fetch my camera and take his mugshot. I decided not to evict him, as he appeared to be armed and dangerous.

Lovely little guy. :) Some milk in a bowl or a few apple pieces might convince him to make a second visit...
    • Goli Ironhead
Actually, milk can be very disruptive to hedgehogs, up to the point of causing a fatal intestinal maelstrom (not really, just a lethal diarrhea). Water would be better for the little guy.

Unfortunately, I think milk would only attract half the wild cats we have in this neighbourhood. We're not allowed to keep pets, so I suspect people compensate by feeding the cats. ;) I will see if I can snap a cat picture or two for the forums.
