    Did my groceries shopping on the bike(yes I have a car Americans). got a flat tire due to a faulty wheel-ribbon. Is this the correct word? It is the ribbon or lint that prevents the spokes from cutting into the inner tube.

    The bike shop replaced the tire. It lasted 25 m. On top of that, the valve broke of and fell into the hollow space of the heightened rim.

    And that is why I always have a spare tire with me, and the tools to fix it.
