I have a pic of a winged ??? not sure what class/race but he looks cool. I just want the wings removed.
There was a post on the Wizards forums for doing such things. Wizards took down their forums so all the people that could have done this for me are gone. I don't know where they went.
Any of you know where I can find someone to do it?

You could ask the original artist that drew it if he would alter it for your use :holy:

I doubt that he still has the original files, but yeah, you could ask the author: http://agyron.deviantart.com/

Even just removing the wings on his back would be a bother without the layered image because of all the overlapping effects.

I did it as an exercise in photoshop so it's not difficult to do. I'm not going to post the one I did because like Keneth said, you should ask the artist if you want to used that image.

Depends on how cleanly you want to do it. Dealing with glow and translucency effects is a pain in the ass.

I know I'm late to the party, but I want to point out that you can get a photo editing program for free that is to Photoshop as OpenOffice or LibreOffice is to Microsoft office.
It is called GNU Image Manipulation Program or GIMP.
    https://www.gimp.org/
Just as powerful as Photoshop, but open source and for free. Just like LibreOffice is just as powerful as Microsoft Office but free.

Or, you know, Krita, or any number of other image editing programs. :shake:

I typically use GIMP, but the Windows version is not as good as photoshop, in terms of options.

Works well enough for pretty much all of my needs. It's pretty intuitive, unlike most others like GIMP, Photoshop etc. which are very powerful, but also quite complex and definitely have a learning curve. Most of the average user's image manipulation will be pretty mundane and basic, so there's no need to bring a space shuttle to a bbq party.

    Or something like that.

The pixlr web editor also offers a lot of features, without needing a download/install, perfect for quick edits or if you're not on your own workstation.
