NOTE: get a template for this tool here.

-This program was designed to help make dialogue editing easier for the TOEE mod community. Developed for the Circle of Eight modding crew found at www.co8.org/forums/ It is currently version .81 and has been tested numerously in its creation. If you discover a bug or have any suggestions please email me at gabri3l2003@yahoo.com-

    Using the editor:
Browse your drives for the Temple of Elemental Evil .dlg files. after you have selected the file you wish to load press load and it will load up at line 1 in the editor. At this point you can make any changes you want to the existing lines and code.

    Adding lines:
To add a line use the reference on th right hand side of currently used lines and choose one that does not conflict, When you hit add line the editor will load an empty dlg line at that line number, you can edit it how you wish but remember to press Save New Line when you are finished otherwise it will not save. In reference an NPC line does NOT have a jump to line number while a PC line does, this is how the program filters between the two so forgetting to put a jump to line in a PCs dialogue will ccause it to refrence as a NPC in the editor.

    Adding flags:
I have included a list of currently known flags to be added in their respective places. These flags still contain the example variables and currently what all the variables mean is not known. When that is discovered you will be a ble to edit each flag individually using a list of known variables.

Saving: You can save overtop of the current file being edited or you can save to a new file. Pressing unload before saving will not automatically save your file changes. be sure to save.
