I was thinking today that I might just reread the Dark Elf Trilogy, but then I thought 'But it might actually suck! That would ruin a perfectly good illusion!'

So, what are the rest of us nostalgic about?

I'm thinking about watching Monty Python and the Holy Grail for about the hundredth time, and it definitely will not suck. :D

Thinking about playing through Might and Magic 4 and 5 for the umpteenth time. Great games, methinks.

Nostalgic is a very fitting expression here. Can't say what it's about, though. It feels as though I were regretting something, longing for something and missing something all at one time - judging by how it feels, but I don't know the reason. Oh well. Beer and wine will probably help me forget.

We were having a nostalgic discussion about Voltron: Defender of the Universe on #sorcerers the other day. I think Sorvo may have bought one on eBay as a result.

At the age of 21, I intend to destroy all traces of nostalgia by rereading LotR, watching the films back to back, replaying PS:T and then FFIX. :p

I want to read for the second time LotR, but as Aikanaro said: "This would ruin a perfectly good illusion"
Oh well, I'll give it a try... there are so many things I forgot and I cannot stand it.

Nostalgia is strange feeling... so sad but still warming. It makes me feel uncomfortable with this moment, and hoping that time wouldn't go further. :(

I watched Robin Hood: Disney and The Princess Bride last night. Never can nostalgia hit me with those movies.

I found a 5" floppy with King's Quest 1 (selfstarting! :p ) and thought of the time I played the game on an Olivetti M24.

The game is in vga now, iso cga.

Nostalgia is not what it used to be... ;)

I've been listening to Bob Dylan's _Slow Train Coming_ (1980). If you haven't heard it, I highly recommend it.

I'm giving in to my nostalgia every chance I get by re-reading the Legend of Huma right now...and it's living up to what I remember of it.

@Faerus - I absolutely loved that book! Unfortunately though, my copy went walkabout some 9 or 10 years ago.

Well, I'm nostalgic about basically my whole life and 'routine' from about 5 years ago. I walked to my grandmother's house the other week to do her gardening for her and walked along this particular stretch of highway which brought back so many great memories of that time...
