[IMG]The Kickstarter campaign for The Dwarves comes with its first update, mentioning that within 48 hours the $100K milestone was reached. In addition they also explain in what way you can pay on Kickstarter without using a credit card in the German speaking market, while they will announce their PayPal page at a later stage (probably when they have reached their goal).

And there is this bit about not doing Mac and Linux versions of the game:

For our previous games we have always made Mac and Linux versions and we've received several questions why we're not (yet) doing it this time.

    There are two main reasons:
    • We have to use our resources cleverly. If we can "only" develop, test and release three versions of the game at the same time, then it has to be on the three largest platforms. In this case they are Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
    • Technologically "The Dwarves" is much more sophisticated than Battle Worlds: Kronos or The Book of Unwritten Tales 2. We just can't be sure if we can manage to make a really good Mac and Linux version of it. We would need to spend a lot of time for tests, which leads us straight back to reason 1.
BUT: Both of that doesn't mean that Mac and Linux versions are out of the question. In principle we want to continue covering as many platforms as possible, and would love to release The Dwarves on Mac and Linux.

We're currently discussing internally, if and how we could do that. Maybe we could offer a stretch goal that will bring us enough budget (and therefore time) for the ports.
