I just replayed IWD, and I've started the expansion with my imported characters. They are all around level 12 or so. Is that high enough to head to burial isle in HOF mode? I'm thinking no because I keep getting my ass handed to me. What level is a good time to try HoF in an expansion game?

    Thanks.

Lvl. 15 an up, should do it.
Of course, you need to com up with a decent strategy to deal with all the wraiths.

Level 12 is possible. You can use stealth and invisibility to do the main quest on Burial Isle and fight those undead after returning from Gloomfrost with more XP and better equipment if you want an easier time.
