  • Was probably the hardest fight in the game for my last solo (2h war), but my mage breezed right through it (I had Morrigan and Alistair with me because I had done the dark ritual and like to have a chat with Morrigan just before facing the Archdemon, and Alistair whines if you don't bring him along :p - they were waiting back with Shianni).

Entropic Death combo on an all Hexed up General took care of him before the gates had even been smashed down, I used Crushing Prison on the Ogre as soon as the gates went down and then followed up with a Blood Wound, which took care of it.
After that I used Misdirection Hex on the nearest Lieutenant, and then just stuck with (Virulent) Walking Bomb routines, using Blood Wound whenever it was off CD, for the remainder of the fight.

Was a few close calls because I wasn't paying enough attention (those Darkspawn archers can kill you pretty quickly if you don't remember to top off your health all the time).
