NWN graphics / gameplay mods?

    Hey, Ive had NWN for a while now and think its a great game but havent played it much. After, a few hours of playing, I get so annoyed with the game that I cant play it again until I forget how bad the controls are. I think I deleted and reinstalled the whole game 3 times now, heh. I was hoping someone here might know if there is a mod that adjusts any of the following things in the game:

    1) Camera view is very annoying for me. I prefer to play with the camera right behind the character (chase mode). However, the camera turns too slow and cant keep up with my character. Also, in buildings (and sometimes dungeons) I always need to adjust the camera to get around corners and not miss anything (chests, monsters, doors).

    2) The turn and sidestep animations are too slow and sluggish. Because of this, I constantly bump into walls, bookshelves, commoners... especially when in somewhat crowded places. It also makes moving around in a small places a nightmare.

    3) The game environments look like a bunch of square blocks stacked on top of each other. This doesnt really bother me much but anything that can help the game look better would help (Im already running it at highest settings).

    4) Last thing I can think of is allowing some kind of mouse free-look feature.

    In general, I would like to play a little more like other 3rd person rpgs like Gothic, KOTOR, World of Warcraft... If you know about a mod that adjusts any of the above things, tell me.

    You can't get to view it in 3rd person by any means I know of.

    It's probably most flexible if you keep your camera at a distance above of your character instead of right behind it.

    You can't do much about the graphics. It's hard-coded into the game, and would probably require quite a lot more than a simple mod in order to change!

    the game tends to get a bit laggy sometimes (for me anyways), when I keep the camera too close to my char, and especially if it's in a crowded area.

    Visit Neverwinter Vault for mods. It has a huge database of fan created mods, fixes and various other stuff.

    All such gameplay mods worth mentioning are listed on SP at http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/NWN/index_editors.php

    There are a couple of camera angle hacks listed there that were pretty popular, but after BioWare unlocked the camera in one of the patches, I don't know if they're still being updated.

    There are no modifications that I know of for anything else on your list.
