I've lost Scar

    [​IMG] I've dealt with the doppelgangers in the merchant league and now I am trying to report back to Scar about it but I can't find him any more. He said he was going to outside the Flaming Fist building but I can't find anyone outside there except Tiax. Where has he gone?

    He could be inside, if not then he's gone... you'll find out what happened to him in chapter 7.

    Gone? How rude. So I'll get no XP for dealing with those doppelgangers then?

    Chapter 7?! There are still 2 more chapters in this game? I thought I was almost finished....... :(

    It could be a bug, it happened to me once, he just vanished. I saw some explanation, maybe in a walkthrough (available here)

    If he is not in front of the building, neither in the rooms of the ground floor of FF HQ, then check Eltan's suites (can be reached from the ground floor, there are secret stairs that lead to Eltan's room) and try talking to Eltan.

    By the way Scar normally can't disappear at this part of the game (*that* thing does not happen this time, Fallen Paladin)

    Interesting. It shouldn't, by default, since it needs other parts of the plot to happen before. You learn that in Chapter 7 (when you return), provided we speak about the same thing...

    I've looked all over the Flaming Fist building can I can't find him. While I was there, I thought I'd ask Duke Eltan if he had seen Scar and when I did, he somehow teleported me to Candlekeep and Chapter 6 started.

    I've only explored about two sectors of Baldur's Gate so far. Do I get to go back to Baldur's Gate at all? Do I even need to explore the rest of Baldur's Gate?

    Yep, Scar disappeared on me as well, and I couldn't find him to report my victory over the doppelganers. Never figured out what happened to him.

    Harbourboy, there's only a few places in Baldur's Gate you'll still have to go to, but if you don't explore anything you'll miss on alot of quests and powerfull items.

    This is normal. Eltan is the solution this time, Scar always disappears.

    And yes you can return to BG when you finish your job at Candlekeep and do any quests you have missed. Although travelling inside the city will be a bit more difficult.
