    [​IMG] Is there any armor that a bard can wear and still cast spells? Or is he limited to bracers of def.?

    [​IMG] The only exception is for elves with the elven chain, but that's the only one I can think of.

    Apparently the mithril chainmail lets you cast aswell as being +4. When i gave it to Garrick though his spell options were disabled. It might just be a bug on my computer though.

    Oh and by the way you have to kill Drizzt to get the armor off him.hehehehehe.

    or you could use shadow keeper... if u don't want to cheat though i think that u might be able to pickpoket him and get it bu i'm not quite sure.

    1. The editor for BG1 is called Gate Keeper, not Shadow Keeper
    2. The only way to get Drizzt's chainmail is to kill him

    Drizzt's armor is NOT elven chainmail. It was made by a dwarf (Bruenor Battlehammer). And I don't believe there is any 'elven chainmail' in the game, is there? Least not in BG1........

    it makes no difference weather or not Drizzt's armor is elven. it still says that it is chainmail and it allows spell casting while being worn. Nothing to do with elves!

    Acutally, evlen chainmail say that it is "chainmail" and you spellcaster can cast spell while wearing an elven chainmail...
