I hate golems. They are not the toughest monsters in the game but they are major pains in my backside.

What are their stats? I know one -- the Clay golem can haste himself and slow his enemies, and it takes +1 or better blunt weapons to hurt him.

The Adamantine golem requires +3 or +4 weapons of any type to hit him.

That's all I know! Please fill me in on the Stone golem and the others (isn't there a sand golem kicking around?)

there are flesh golems and ice golems and magic golems too.

Stone Golems only take max damage from piercing weapons I believe.

Magic Golems are completely immune to all types of magic.. so use regular weapons and they're a piece of cake.

Not sure if there ARE any flesh golem special stats. Don't think so.

but of course, i'm an idiot.

Flesh golem - requires at least +1 weapons

Clay - requires at least +1 blunt weapons.

Stone -requires at least +2 weapons

    Iron/Adamantine - requires at least +3 weapons.

Adamantine - resistant (90%) to practically all physical damage.

Ctrl + Q may find what you are looking for.

I know one of them needed piercing weapons... Thought it was the stone golem, but maybe I'm wrong.

All the golems are resistant to normal weapons except lesser clay golem. Iron is resistant to +2 or less i believe and Adamantite to +2 or less with 90% physical resistance, 100% magical and cloud ability.

plus theres the magic golem which cant be hit by magical weapons. And one more unique golem in the planar sphere which cant die due to its hp never dropping below 10.

[IMG] I can understand str20 and dex19. But con9? Even worse, wis, int and cha? Golems are mindless creatures, but here they are of equal mental capabilities as any commoner.
    Bad programming.

It's not bad programming, it's just lazy programming. Bioware never intended for us to know those stats, so they only altered the ones that would actually matter in combat.

There's none that requires piercing weapons. Brain and clay require blunt, magic require normal weapons. Sand golems are basically the same as stone.

Also note that although golems have 100% magic resistance, they are not immune to magic. So, if you hit them with lower resistance a few times, then pelt them with magic missiles, you can kill them that way.

Does Flesh Golem needs at least +1 weapon to kill? Hmm, perhaps. But by the time in ToB it's rare NOT to have at least a +3 weapon.

I think the Adamantine actually needs +4 weapons because I remember Korgan slashing away with his axe on it but only doing additional Fire and Cold damage with Stonefire & Frostreaver, both of which is +3.
