Has anyone thought of/actually created a MoD to give a Sorcerer the option of using wild magic. Since it's an inborn ability, wouldn't that make sense? Or am I totally out of it?

Unfortunately a great deal of the Sorcerer and Wild Mage classes are hardcoded, which makes any kits for them well-nigh impossible. The only one I've seen is the Druidic Sorcerer kit, which I understand essentially replaces the sorcerer class.

I wouldn't try that mod but it was confusing. You start of in Jonnys dungeon at level 1 and get loads of xp which takes you up to the standard level. But then one of the level 7 abilitys is you can wear light (i take it leather) armour, but it wouldn't let me pick it up.

I have tried to make that with Shadowkeeper once, and iirc it worked decently until leveling up. Then it kept ... not working :p

I decided it was not worth the effort to constantly edit my saves, and just played a regular wild mage instead :)

It would be possible to do if it was made a mage kit. It would still be a lot of work, though.

    That might be possible.

There is an in-game cheat code to make all spells have wild surges, but it affects enemies and allies and makes it only be one of the 100 possible surges.

it IS possible, if you do it with one of those weird editors from teambg.

did it on a sorceror of mine a year ago.

pretty funny, but you wont survive long though heh. the code will function properly, unlike that cheat code.

applying wild surges aint harder than applying immunity to time stop heh, its actually easier :p

i wonder if you can apply it to a sword, causing it to do alot of weird effects when you fight haha

He asked if it were possible to do and then distribute as a mod. The answer is no. It is possible to do by editing a creature file, but not as a kit.

that is true, anyway i didnt have a wild sorceror at the moment.

but i do have a level7\8 kensai\mage that always gets wild surges on every spell he casts no matter what it is...(exept scrolls i deem).

you can get him here: http://shadowasylum.2.forumer.com/index.php?showtopic=60&st=0&

there's also two screens of him there.
