OKay my Processor is a 64 bits one, and my OS is 32 bits. So my question is fairly simple yet I haven't find any answers. It is it worth it to upgrade to Winxp 64 bit? Cost isn't a problem since I'll be using me friend old CD for it, If I ever choose to change my OS.

The typical problem is that needed drivers are not available in the 64 bit versions.

Unless you're unhappy with your current 32 bit XP, and know the 64 bit will solve whatever problem you have with it, I woudn't bother.

The driver issue is not as bad as it once was. I am running Xp 64 bit and the only driver that I was unable to locate was for my 4 year old mp3 player and even older webcam.

Benefits? Well, it is my believe that it is more stable than regular XP. Also, it is definatly a little snappier in load times. However, given that Vista essentially replaces it, I cannot in good conscious recommend it. M$ kind of developed it and then forgot about it until too late. Wait until Vista gets a few service packs then take the dive (for the 64-bit edition), i'd say.
