    The constant filler makes me think he either doesn't know how to do that, or has a very simple way to do it in mind and wants to stretch the comic for as long as possible (in order to have a "full" 4th book). The story's been stagnating for almost 80 strips now.

    I haven't minded the recent ones- they didn't seem to go anywhere fast, but I got a few laughs out of it.

    However, I just loved 595.

    It looks like V is echoing the fan base's sentiments. Not that I haven't gotten a chuckle from some of the strips but the time spent on the stories post Roy's death are completely out of proportion to their significance compared with those before. And there's more scope for gags when you've more party members to interact with one another.

    I found it incredibly ironic that a character within the comic would say something that's been on my mind for the past 100 strips (and one whole year...). There have been a few flashes here and there, but overall my enjoyment of the comic has been going steadily down for a while now. I'm hoping this is a sign things will finally pick up.
