Not a bad day. watched both discword movies on sci fi, learned that sis lifted the firework boycot at her place.

In the netherlands one day of the year we are allowed to light fireworks. Can you imagine what that looks like after all that alcohol. People get hurt, burn wounds, once a bar burned down, lots of cars go up in flame, ...

We both adore fireworks but her daughter is scared (20 years old). Once I threw a jumping jack in the air that landed on the hedge and set it on fire. Second a piece of firework she set off landed in the kitchen, right on the spot were the box with firewors was suppose to be.

I still get blamed for that, being male it is logical from the female's view. Even after 5 years. Okay I did set fire to the hedge. The other main problem is the price. Store's charge as much as they can. And even more.

The fog was especially intense yesterday.

ION, the couple coats of paint I gave yesterday to one of my old projects have turned out not too bad after all. I'm surprised I was able to do good work with this freaking cast.

Meh. I got some REAL painkillers, so it doesn't hurt as a bad a b**** than it did yesterday.

At least I still can play some PS3.

[IMG] I just pulled out my rib and my shoulder by trying to look at the back of my shoulder. I've had a skin reaction to something and was trying to look and see what was wrong

Got an iPod touch from mom for Christmas. quite literally dropped my jaw. I was not planning to buy an iPod anytime soon, but I had lots o' fun playing with this new toy. It is most certainly a toy, a big kids toy at that.

Hmm, peeps, your mention of chocolate reminded me I have a bar of 70% dark chocolate, orange flavored, lying around. But before falling into this delight...

    :hippy:

*EDIT* Hm, as I was coming back from the convenience store, I saw a license plate reading "TAL"

You watchin' me, Pink Dragon? :mommy:

I spent the day setting up, and playing on, the Wii that my Dad got for Christmas. I got an external hard-drive, which I am now gleefully filling with music, games and TV shows :D

Huh...This Xmas didn't suck as bad as I thought.
    Details in the RRT...

As for present wise...I spent $300 on gifts for Jessica and my family, and sent $220 for a noble cause.

All I got was a emergency car charger/air pump/12V power source/light thingamajig that I've wanted to get for the past 3 years or so, Disney's Up on Blu-ray, a scarf some gloves, 3 Mormon books from my mom, and a ton of candy.

I'm bored like hell. Need something to do. Can someone do me a favour and ask me a historical question/topic about Alexander the Great or 16th-century Japan or the Reformation? I'll research it and then report back in a few days.

They have already arrived - I sent some of them back out, but others I were forced to slay. Two even now lurk within dark (or bright?) corners of my room...

Another day flying on painkillers. At least I got some decent sleep... sort of. Time to bury myself in the fog.
