    Behind the closed curtains of the Blackwyrmlair forums the development of Improved Anvil presses on. Or does it? For fans of the mod that aren't subsribers information is scarce, and having to pay up front without even knowing if the product you want to suport is in healthy development might be hard for some to justify.

    So I'm asking if anyone knows or have heard anything about new content, release dates (it might even be out for all I know) and so on, that they might want to share here in this thread.

    I was just about to go to bed before noticing this thread, so I was too lazy to look for the old one.

    What emerged from the old thread was that most of us thought that the mod forced its players into an absurd reverse engineering, whereby we were practically only allowed certain party make ups, and to use only the tactics that the modders wanted us to use. The thread included a quite vocal minority that were trying to convince us mere mortals that we should feel ashamed of ourselves for not having the same enlightenment as the elite inner circle who could truly appreciate what the mod has to offer (hours for a single fight, even assuming you can pull it off without a single reload). But really, most of us just don't have the time or stamina for that kind of exercise even if it was offered for free, never mind paying $ for it.

    And no!!! Let's not go there again. I was simply providing background information to try and satisfy the original poster's curiosity.

    Yes, I'm aware of the usual polarization of the discussion regarding Improved Anvil. Not finding myself at home at either camp I stay away from it - I don't care. I have enjoyed the mod and I'm curious about its development.

    So yes, let's not go there again, because that horse has been beaten to death and then some more.
