How does fire shield look?

    The description of the spell says "When casting this spell, you appear to immolate yourself, but the flames are thin and wispy....."

    verb (used with object), immolated, immolating.
    1.to sacrifice.
    2.to kill as a sacrificial victim, as by fire; offer in sacrifice.
    3.to destroy by fire.

    So what does fire shield actually look like?

    I hate it when people use the term "immolate" to mean "set something on fire". Fire can be the means by which you immolate something, but it's got nothing to with fire itself.

    Vocabulary aside, yeah, it just looks like you've set yourself on fire, with calm and wispy flames.
