    I have two simple questions.

    1. Do enemies in the OC and Motb scale with your level, like they do in TESIV: Oblivion?

    2. I am thinking of making a pure class unarmed monk. How well would he fare in Motb?
And what would be a good race? I'm still deciding between an Assimar, human and Half-Celestial.

Although the last race would give the monk insane resistances the HC has a level adjustment of +3.

And another thing: Can you enchant gloves with spirit essences in Motb?

    1. No.

    2. A pure monk would do very well in MotB. You could also throw in levels of Sacred Fist. As for race, I don't know.

    3. Yes you can enchant gloves in MotB. With AC, DEX, or elemental damages.

Half-Celestial is not a natural race in-game (much too powerful). It could probably be edited in though. You can try looking for a mod that will do it for you.

A lot of the enemies in MotB are notoriously anti-mage types, so a monk (versatile warrior class) should be able to handle them. As a kind of side effect there are few notable enemy magic-users in the game, so Spell Resistance isn't as useful. This applies even if you choose to play in hardcore difficulty (friendly-fire is enabled).
Finally most of the bonuses in the game don't stack, SR is one of them. The other Monk skills would remain useful though.

Both human or aasimar would make decent monks. Humans have the feat and skill bonuses, aasimars get more varied dialogue (I think) along with better stats/some resistances.
