AI! Does It Require a Min Int?

    You sure you didn't turn off the AI? It's the lamp button in the bottom right corner. If that's on, make sure he's actually got an AI script assigned.

    nope, that's the way he came. I had to use fighter aggressive to get him to fight

    It's possible some NPC files fail to include or set a script, but that's why you have the option of doing it yourself.

    I had this happen to Yoshimo before. He'd just stand there, not attack, and never look for traps even though it was set for him to do so. I just changed his script until after a battle and then changed it back to the advanced AI and all was well.
    Now if I could just get him to use his missile weapon. Lol. He always switches to his melee weapon even though it says for him to prefer missile weapons. He switches to his melee when the enemy gets CLOSE not in his face. Then he never changes back to his missile weapon either. I just need to set him to the basic auto attack I guess. All the othere thieves I've used work fine though. :rolleyes:

    I thought they fixed this bug, but yeah - the 'advanced AI ' can go haywire on you for some reason. switching to no script/a different one and then back to advanced AI, all should be well again.
