Does anyone still play Arena? or Daggerfall? I seem to remember that arena was insanely huge. Covered the whole elder scrolls world. Probably 10 times the size of morrowind and oblivion together. Was thinking of playing it again, after over 10 years. Anyone else play it?

I played Arena back in the days. It was lots of fun at the time, but also incredibly, insanely buggy. I loved the huge size and random quests, though I'm not sure I will if I play it again. The game was far too big and there was far too little variety, so eventually everything become mechanical and repetitious. It was still good fun though. I remember playing a Battlemage and with the right selection of spells he was invincible.

I have been playing it today, and I must admit: that game didn`t age well. The sheer size of the map was overwhelming. I litterally got lost in the streets.

It's part of the charm of the old classics :p

The game's automap (well, automaps) is very good and you should take full advantage of it. I don't remember if you could write on maps but IIRC the various places of interest in the city are colour-coded, so use that.

Hehe well, considering that I am semi-colourblind, I doubt that will help me too much :)
