    What happened to the baldur.ini?
What happened to the custom portraits? Where do I add them into the game?
Do I need the fixpack or tweakpack?

Such things are now located in your documents directory, something like:
C:bad:Users\%username%\Documents\Baldur's Gate II - Enhanced Edition

I believe fixpack is in, but tweakpack would need to be installed.

Yes the baldur.ini is there but it doesn't have any kind of section to add the cheat code enabler. The portraits folder is not.

Just add a directory called Portraits. You can also add an Override directory if needed.

As for using debug mode, I had to add it to mine because I have a bug where Watcher's Keep isn't on my map (it's a good idea to check this as soon as you start you game, just incase, and start a new game if it isn't there, btw). I was able to add this to BG.ini, but the formatting on Windows 8, at least, was a bit different than I was used to.

EDIT - This may help: http://forum.baldursgate.com/discussion/comment/403503/#Comment_403503

I've added the portraits folder but but I don't even get an option to use custom portraits when creating a character :(

    Thanks for the link Marceror.

Does anyone know how to get shadowkeeper to work with the BG2 EE?

Don't use Shadowkeeper. Use EEKeeper. Works much better with EE.

When I create the portraits directory I get the option to use custom portraits. Also, in EE you only need a large portrait. The updated engine will automatically resize the medium and small portraits.

Which version is the latest? That may sound like a dumb question but I've seen 1.0.1 1.0.2 1.0.2.1??

    I'm guessing the 1.0.2.1?

Well I'm trying to use 1.0.2.1 but it keeps telling me I have to have BG EE installed so it can find it??? What? Huh? Lol.
Is there a way around this?

Nevermind. I needed to select a language :)

    ---------- Added 4 hours, 34 minutes and 12 seconds later... ----------

How big does it have to be?

Is this where I should have the Portraits folder:

    C:bad:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\Baldur's Gate II Enhanced Edition\portraits ?

I still can't get it to work :borg:

    Got it :)
