    On arcane casters

    This mod incorporates a major part of Kaedrin pack, therefore arcane spells have a few new ones unacquirable from scrolls in-game. EVERY LEVEL UP SPELLs need choosing from the few unfamiliar spells. You can buy normal spell scrolls easy enough (High Hedge, Ugoth Beard, then Baldur Gate shops).

    Enemies can resist the normal spells half of the time, so to increase DC of spell, dont forget potions chugging before battle.

    Max caster level you can get is 10, so think carefully before choosing other class, especially sorcerors.

    You have three or shops to buy spells from 1-3. 4 is rarer but not that rare. 5, however, is very rare. Only Sorcerous Sundry has 4 spells of level 5, I think. The Inn of Ugoth's Beard can have some but a bit random. It is recommended that you choose Kaedrin spell on level up, and the higher the better. Pay special attention during level 9th and 10th, as the two chances to get good 5th level spell. Try to visit UB inn to get high level spell. I even got Mind Blank and Shadow Summons scroll there, strictly for casting and not for learn.

    Meta Magic. Empower are more powerful, but Extend has one sole advantage: Extend Haste can be quite necessary.

    On other note, good grief Dynaheir... Changing her class onto Sorceress!

    A reference questxp frame.
    Human will hit the ceiling at chapter 5 AND finish all the TOSC areas.
    ECL1 will hit the ceiling while doing chapter 5 BG city quests.
    It is possible for ECL2 to hit ceiling in chapter 5-6. If not 7.
    max level is 10, after that we still get xp, just not level up.

    Finish the last fight in BGR. Pretty epic.

    Since i complete TOSC at beginning of chapter 5, so after candlekeep catacomb there is no reason whatsoever to explore: no need for exp or money whatsoever~

    I rush chapter 7 pretty quick.

    Since I made a deal with shadow thieves, they appear in the ducal hall to help us fight doppeldangels. Thanks to the massive number of fodders, both dukes are not targeted and we finish the fight easily. After looting the battle field we then can talk to the dukes to get teleported to the thieves guild.

    Rush the maze since we know the general location of the exit so choose the shortest route.

    The band of mercenary is no challenge since they took a fight with us in the open. Two bears and several summons make for a screen while fighters took out the squishy mages, and casters make short works of the rest.

    Convince Tamoko to leave, since tehre's no reason whatsoever to fight her.

    The final battle is suitably epic. Sarevok open dialog right upon entering the door. Still, the distance is far enough that we can send our horde of summons and animals to occupy Tavok and Sarevok and being target for Angelo and Samej spells.

    The archer (kivan) shoot Angelo then Samej full of detonation arrows. Along with him are 3 casters, Imoen, Branwen and Jaheira, throwing magic missles, flame strikes and hammer of gods. oooh pretty~ IT's necessary since the buggers standing on a pile of traps.

    Our fighter Khalid take on Tavok with assistance from MC paladin. Right after finishing the animals, Sarevok turn to Khalid and nearly kill him. Paladin's Divine Heals are a god send, since they heal 50 HP if target is lower than 50% HP.

    Analysis: Bear Endurance buff is a must since there's some nasty poison in here. Other than that, you need full buffs, and I mean full. Archer with detonation arrows is a good counter for both mage, and them arrows can be bought at Sorcerous Sundries.
    Level 10 is a good cap, since the end fights are tough, but not impossible even with highest difficulty. if we could get to level 11 or 12, it would become a cakewalk, which would have been a shame.

    On money

    Easy come, easy go. Enemies with good loot can be had, but useful items are plenty and expensive, so ... At the end of it, we can have around 100k left to spare.

    Potions to boost stats are useful. Try to buy them as much as possible. While potion of heroism can raise skills, it's can be quite expensive and rare, so we stockpile then not use it. cat grace is the most useful and most used. Bear endurance are too rare, so try to reserve at least 5 for the final fight.

    Arrows of detonation is expensive but worth every gold of it. When it can be used, that is.

    A good way to make use of money is to have your wizard scribe scroll of highest level spell she knows. In battle, she will exhaust her memorized arsenal soon enough, and those scrolls will provide options needed, with only a slight reduce in firepower/level.
