Is it Shank or Carbos?

 

I think Shank and Carbos only give generic bandit quotes, but I'll check to make sure.

Humm, Felinoid, I am pretty sure this is a generic line for all bandits in the game. At least I am absolutely positive that I have heared it in more than one fight.

 

Right, it's a generic male meany greeting line.

Like the female "let's make peace with your demons before I send you too meet them."

 

It's not completely generic. You may hear it more than one place, but it's limited to only a few characters. You'll notice that even after four guesses (that included eight characters, all of which I checked thoroughly: about 15 right-clicks, first interaction click, and even charming them so that I could command them to do things) nobody's gotten it yet! If you can find someone other than the one I got it from, I'll give you credit for it, but I'm getting a little tired of all these 'generic' cop-outs. I think I'm going above-and-beyond on my end, so the least you could do is pick someone and take a guess. Or two, or seven, or all the characters in the game, but at least give me something I can check. If you want, you can keep guessing until you finally get it right, but you're not going to get it undeservedly by quoting the Almighty Generic.

EDIT: Keep in mind that a number of unique quotes from BG1 became generic quotes in BG2.

@Fel - Yeah, I mixed up the BG2 commoner quote "When did I eats corn?!" with Sailor Newf. That's why I guessed it to be a generic commoner.

My guess is Taugosz Khosann.

That's a Jaheira banter. I've been hearing it a lot with my archer party as Jaheira approves of Kivan.
