[IMG] Is there a way to activate the combat grid (make it visible) to help me during combat? I'm having a hard time avoiding AoO's when I think I'm moving safely.

    Thanks in advance.

I haven't played it in a while, but I do know that if you hold down one of <Ctrol>, <Shift> or <Alt> and then move the mouse, you get a preview of possible AoO attacks against you. You can move the mouse until the path is clear of AoO's and then you can then click to set a way point or to move there.

It's all in the manual, page 146, if you have one.
You can press alt to see (as Stuntman said) if you suffer an AoO and how far you can move. You can also set waypoints and dubbleclick on the last one to move.

I have the GOG version, so my page 146 is 5th-Level Sorcerer/Wizard Spells. But I'm able to use the ALT key as you described. Thanks!

Oh! Hehe! I should have remembered that not all copies come with the same manual.
There are lots of other hotkeys that you can use or assign (assign one for the 5 ft. step!). Hopefully it's described in your manual as well. They make the game a lot prettier to play.

That's something I really should do, assigning Hotkeys...I just never got around to it, but it would make things easier.
