After all the times I have played this game, I have never had this problem: The "sorcerer" character gains a level, character is then able to choose a spell or spells based on the appropriate level(s) The spell or spells then appear in the sorcerers spellbook. PROBLEM: NO spells besides those that were in the sorcerers spellbook at the start of the start of the game can be cast, regardless of whether the appropriate level has been reached or not. I have tried resting, but still none of the new spells appear in the actual "casting" menu aside from those that I started with at the beggining of the game. I am guessing that this is a fluke, but I have hopes that someone here has found a way to get around this (rare?) glitch.

    Problem Found

After some initial frustration, I stumbled upon the problem: :(Bad file structures. Apparently, more than one of my save games had become cross linked making them corrupt, and for all intensive purposes, useless. If there is anyone out there that is having or has had weird problems such as this, then try scanning it. :(I realize that this is not a cure because the place you saved will be lost, but at least it should prevent other files from becoming cross linked and/or corrupted.
