    I'm new to all this, so excuse me if it was a dull question.
    But here's another one. Can I play on ALFA? I know there are some requirements for DM's servers but I haven't found anything on players.

    Yes of course you can play on ALFA, but as for being a DM it won't be possible because your connection is too slow.

    Playing in the online and persistant world of ALFA and on their servers will not be a problem. You'll find countless hours of adventure that will keep you coming back for more! :)

    It's a very large project which has gotten notice and praise from many other persistant worlds.

    DM Server Pages go live in February and that will only further the grand scale of things, allowing players to learn about those areas and decide where they want to start playing.
