I am doing a campaign on Dragonland, does anyone have information to readings on the terrain/communities or ideas?

A green dragon is currently ferrying the team from Prime to the Land of Dragons, so they can retrieve their dragonknight teammate.

This is what I have thought up so far :

The team will emerge from the core, as all visitors may only access from there.
The land orbits around the core, a small Prime-like orb of True Neutrals. The Orb houses the True Neutral dragons, and the Law of dragon land itself.

Did I mention Dragonland is separated by alignment? Similiar to planescapes order of the planes.

Floating around the orb are ever-expanding scapes of differing sub-planes of alignments, to mirror the ever complicating nature of alignments.

Question : should I stick to dragons of colours that binds their alignments? If not, will it be too complicating? Some campaigns ended up with only 20% of the contents understood by the players...

What will be the difference between the domain of the black dragons vs the shadow dragons?

I hope to craft a unique and simple world. Hopefully I can tap on creative folks here :)

    Thanks in advance.
