Help With Mods on Window 8 PC

    HI I have recent reinstalled BG1 to play through on my Window 8 PC.

    Game installs ok but I wanted to install some mods firstly the exp cap remover I downloaded the BGVG6 but when I go to open to install it doesn't work it wants me to choose a programme to open it with but nothing works.

    As there are no instructions on the Sorcerers.net page and the Old team BG site no longer exists I'm a little stuck.

    Any Ideas anyone

    seems to be a .rar file wnatever that is.

    .rar is a file compression/archiving format like .zip. So you need a .rar file extractor utility.
