Hmmm, de'Arnise / Planar sphere probs

    starting to think my game is screwed, I have tried doing both the d'arnise and planar sphere quests to get the holds but I am not being offered ownership, have re-started the game once already becouse I did the d'arnice first but second time round i have not been offered either, am i missing something?

    At the risk of oversimplifying things, do you have the multiple stronghold mod on? If not, is your character either a fighter, a magic user, or both?

    [​IMG] The Ranger stronghold is in the Umar Hills.

    You can only have astronghold relating to your class, I don't believe Multiple Strongholds changes that, last I checked it only allowed two (possibly three) if you were multiclassed.

    May have changed in recent versions.

    The game is definitly not screwed. Your guide you've checked before playing seems to be though.

    Maybe a little berkish. The D'arnise keep is the fighter stronghold (rangers are, obviously, not fighters) and the Planar Sphere is the magic-user stronghold (and sorcerer I think).

    The multiple stronghold mod I'm thinking of is part of either ease-of-use or the other one that's more recent that encompasses all the ease-of-use things and allows your character to take as many or few strongholds as he/she wants without worrying about class matches for the stronghold.

    D'arnise keep is also the stronghold for monks and barbarians ... who are not fighters either.

    Actually there is a Nalia Romance mod that lets you get the fighter stronghold stuff and not be a fighter, monk, or barbarian.

    It may help to have a ranger or paladin protagonist when you do it (I have a paladin who has both Nalia's Keep and the Order of the Radiant Heart's building as his strongholds without ease of use or other mods that let you do multistronghold games-not that I have anything against them though.

    True 8, but why are monks and barbarians warriors while paladins and rangers are not? Why can't my ranger have a nice home AND a vacation cabin?

    [​IMG] Because there are no nearby monastaries and mud huts don't have many quests attached :D

    Monk helping out with a Lords land, isn't too out there. Barbarian however probably should be gently ushered back to a cave :lol:
