How can I tell if an IAS item works?

    If I have a pair of gloves that have "10% increased attack speed" how can I tell if they are actually making my weapon speed go faster? Will the weapon now say it's the next level up in speed?

    There are numerous tables on the web that show the different weapons and the IAS breakpoints. Google them, because it depends on the character and the weapon as to where the breakpoints are. It's neither straight line nor uniform.

    I've found a few explanings but they just talk about how you get it not how do you tell if it's working or not :(
    All I want to know is if it should show on the weapon description when you mouse over it.

    DUH me!! Just equip the weapon while wearing the gloves. Then take off the gloves and see if it shows any change. :facepalm:
