How do you increase the options on each side of the screen?

    Remove all ads!
    I've tried a google but had no luck.
    I mean the side bars that have to options you can choose like the priest spells, mage spells, map, etc. Then there's the pictures that represent your characters?

    I haven't played this original in ages. Should be great with the EE stuff. Should I get Siege of Dragonspear? Or should I wait for the bugs to be fixed?

    There's no option to enlarge the side panels as they're a fixed part of the UI for any given resolution. SoD is a topic for the SoD forum and the common answer seems to be to wait at this point.

    I know you said there's no option to make them bigger but this might be a bit excessive. This is what I mean:

    Yea, they don't really scale with your resolution, so the larger res you play at, the smaller they become. They felt too small for that res to me too when played BG:EE but that's how they designed it.

    Is there a way to adjust the res to make it smaller so the sides get bigger?

    You can turn of the user interface scaling with your resolution by going to Options -> Graphics -> Scale user interface.

    That doesn't actually have any effect on the side panels as far as I can see, it only makes the rest of the interfaces that much smaller in larger resolutions...

    I stumbled upon the fix I was looking for. It's in the graphics options like it should be. I started going through everything and found that scale user interface fixed it. Now everything is the right size. :banana:

    Uh... xosmi mentioned that above already but it doesn't have any effect on the side panels.

    Edit: Doh, I tried it again and now it did scale the panels in my BG:EE. Nothing happened with that when I tried it yesterday. Chalk it down to another EE bug/issue I guess.
