How would you do a 3-4 characters party?

    Wait did you forget static charge or did that spell not make the EE game? That spell was a HUGE boost to druids and rangers in the original game at high levels.


    Also water elemental form with the right items can be made to make you immune to ALL physical damage for at least a short time using a shield power. Very useful if you have HoW mode on.

    No, you're right, i forgot to add it, my mistake :)
    It's a great spell too, basically being the lightning strike for indoors, for 2d8 electrical damage base +1d8 on top of that per caster level.

    Phew that is good news as that was a huge part of my late game strategy in my old party. Have the fighter/druid, cleric/ranger, and ranger cast as many as possible after resting and just laugh as they go off (seemingly all the time) on enemies for the rest of the adventuring day (they easily last all day at that point and even into the rests).

    Few things are more satisfying than seeing one or more of those going off on an enemy and it literally saving your life.

    yeah, one thing to keep in mind though - in the enhanced edition, the spell no longer stacks with itsself. :(

    i actually like that they fixed things like that in the enhanced edition, and while the new content - while not great, it's satisfactory enough for me to warrant getting the enhanced editions, and i quite like some of the new companions they added :D
