    Kratzy was always a t the back!

Later I used his non-detectable-ness and Flaming short sword to sneak behind and stab-a-lot! ;)
Hes good at distracting spell-casters and spreading havoc.

I used the funniest voice-set for the thief and it really gave him character.
I just wished he would comment about turnips every once i a while!

    Good luck with the party!

So, their first session is over, and a quick summary is in order!

We hadn't barely set foot in the bar before we were approached by Hrothgar, who pretty much recruited us without choice. Headed next door and picked up weapons and armour, already the party were looking kinda heroic :) Next up we cleared the basement of the tavern, a hard fought battle and a true test of skill for our young warriors. After that, off to Horth's house where he, instead of taking us on the adventure he promised us, had us off searching for a caravan.. Bah, a job's a job.

heading sough out of Easthaven, we found ourselves up against Goblins, who actually caused some nasty injuries. Already, though, Kruzty was proving his worth - Cracked several goblin skulls that day. Following the trail, we stumbled upon the caravan, and an orc! He saw us too, and fled into a cave, so we followed, weapons in hand.

What commences in the cave is a fight unlike the party has ever seen. Spells, arrows, and the occasional turnip fly as we battle through Orcs. As the dust settles, Bogir scouts ahead, and finds himself faced with an Ogre, as well as several orc archers. He bravely scurries back tot he party and we go in swinging and spell slinging. Having found the stolen goods, and killed everything that moves (And found a magic dagger!), the party leaves for Easthaven. We report to Horthgar, and then it's off on the expedition!

However, the best laid plans blah blah and some Frost Giants decide to make pains of themselves. They cause an avalanche, and the part is cut off from Easthaven, and most of the expenditon is either missing or dead. Bugger. Still, we meet a hermit and he directs us east, though warns us that Goblins are rife. We underestimate just how many there are, however, and end up in quite a fight. We heal as we move, no rest, and the pace is pretty relentless.

We take refuge in what appears to be an old tower, whereupon we find an Ogre. These guys are everywhere at the moment. The poor blighter has a headache, it seems, and Kratzy helpfully tries to convince him to hit his head on a wall. Needless to say, something of a fight breaks out and we end up with somewhere to rest. At this point, Ramine identifies the magical dagger from the Orc Caves and Kratzy grabs it.

After a little rest, we head East and find a goblin that isn't really interested in fighting, he seems to have gone slightly peculiar. He talks about a calling he hears, and other such strangeness. We head past him into the old mill and end up in another fight. This party seems totally unable to go 5 minutes without rubbing someone up the wrong way and spilling blood. This Orc, however, is leader of a clan. Bilbs, stout leader of the group, takes him down with a spell and the party beat him to death. A few more corpses and down the stairs we go.

Goblins! Again! And they all get taken apart, again! These guys are starting to look like pushovers by now, to the point that Ramine doesn't bother throwing a Sleep on them anymore. Having cleared the room, a sound comes from a small cupboard under the stairs. We open it, weapons in hand, spells at the ready, to find... A child. We explain to him that the Goblins are dead, and he flees for safety. Not only does this give me a warm fuzzy feeling, but it gives Vara and Kruzty a level up!

With this they leave the mill and head east. So far, this journey is just bloody dangerous.
