I've been searching the options for something that will increase the amount of time that the quick dialogs are displayed. I've only started the game, and am in the apartment complex. I'm trying to talk to some of the aliens in the hall, but the messages showing what they say often disappear before I can finish reading them. I admit that I'm a bit of a slower than average reader at times in terms of reading speed (not comprehension), but this is ridiculous. I don't want to have to concentrate on speed reading while playing a game to relax. I'd like to read at a nice, leisurely pace while playing a game in my leisure time. I'd like to increase the time to be comparable to what was in Baldur's Gate or Icewind Dale.

I don't see anything in the .ini file about that, is there a "hidden" option to do so?
