I wasn't sure whether to put this in the BG2 folder or this one, because I'm having the same problem with both KOTOR and BG2. When I'm playing, its fine for a while, but if I'm trying to enter a new area, it just freezes on the loading screen and then it crashes to the desktop. I get the standard "An error occurred with xxxxxx. Send an error report." message.

I haven't installed any sort of mods or patches for KOTOR, I only got it a few days ago. BG2 should be fine,as it is fully patched and fixed, and no weird mods either.

Another problem with KOTOR I've been having is that the main menu is off-center when it loads. I can only see the top half, and the rest is not visible on screen. When I go into the Graphics options and re-set the resolution from 800x600 to 1024x768, its perfectly fine. When I re-start the game, the resolution resets to 800x600 however.

Any idea why these things are happening? I've got a Dell Inspiron 9100 running 3.2 GHz P4, 1 GB DDR-RAM, Windows XP Home Edition with SP2, ATI Mobility Radeon 9800.

    Help!
