My DVD-Drive just ruined the Ruins of Myth Drannor

    Damn, my cursed DVD-Drive just killed my second set of POR II. So I need to wait at least until tuesday for my third copy to arrive. :)

    At least it is cheap with 0,30 cents and postal charges of 3.00. It's weird when the delivery costs 10 times as much as the game itself. :rolleyes:

    Maybe they just can't throw away working games and like to know that somebody else enjoys them.


    Good idea, but unfort. too late. Already erased the game. I'll get it for the next installation.

    The game crashed constantly, so I thought maybe the Installation was corrupt. So I tried a reinstallation. This was when I realised, that the CDs are severely damaged.:D

    There's no accounting for taste :D

    I found the game pretty awful, but it's much more tolerable with the speed cheat. Parts of it are also quite good, but unfortunately it's only small parts of it.

    The speed mod somehow didn't work correctly. Sometimes it didn't increase the sped at all, then it was almost too fast.

    Are you sure that PoR didn't just ruin itself? IIRC there were installation/removal problems about the game. Could wipe your HD if removed without a patch or some such waffle, so I hear. Be careful.
