Got a new video card and want to test it by using nwn2 on max settings, unfortuntely I'm a bit OCD and can't start playing 'til it's patched and the autopatcher sucks... I downloaded the patches manually, but have no idea what to do with them. Has anyone else had to do manual patching?

Well it seems the only download site that works is the IGN one, so I just have to restart the patch loader non-stop until I get the ign download.

Do you have any of the expansions? I had problems with the autopatcher initially, I installed NWN2, then MotB, then SOZ, thinking that each expansion would patch to what was the current version when it was released, then tried to run the autopatch and it didn't work. I wiped everything off, then patched between each expansion: install NWN2, autopatch, install MotB, autopatch, install SOZ, autopatch. That worked.

I knew that ahead of time and was patching each one individually, it's just some of the patch sites are broken, the only one that worked consistantly was the ign patch site, but the auto-updater picks randomly and it meant I had to keep stopping the updater and starting it back up.

The vault has a manual patcher and all the rtp patch files too. It's kind of difficult to figure out which patch you need though. They really ought to create a single executable file that you can download and update the game.
